An afrika corps reconaisance team is investigating a British outpost in the ruins of Siwaa Oasis.
Siwaa Oasis has become a legend of the history of conquerors. Its story starting as early as Alexander the Great, whom due to a mistranslation was declared a God by the Oracle there.
Rommel, auspiciously repeating his steps, occupied it, and personally visited the very temple.

Construction
I sculpted a piece styrophoam to mimic dunes covering the ruins. I poured hydrocol over them, then applied flour to produce the sandy texture. Underneath the styrophome, as a base, I used a piece of rock-textured Platique sheet styrene. I airbrushed the columns with an almalgam of enamel paints (euro-grey;flat earth); and airbrushed the sand with 'sand'; washing it with a darker sandy artist oil.
The figures, as alpine, are the finest I've ever seen. Thus, i took special attention to paint them. I constructed the 222 two years ago; however I saw fit to apply an additional layer of dry-brushing on it which really brought out the details.
